CityScapes recently hosted two visits that emphasized our commitment to building a strong local workforce - Hilliard City Schools District guidance counselors and students from Southwestern school district's welding and auto body collision classes. We aim to educate future generations about career opportunities in manufacturing architectural solutions and signage. Through these experiences, we aim to connect students and educators with our innovative work and possible career paths in Central Ohio.

Engaging Educators: Hilliard City School District Counselors Tour

We recently welcomed 14 elementary school counselors from the Hilliard City School District. This interactive tour was designed to help counselors better understand the career opportunities in manufacturing and architectural solutions, equipping them to guide young students toward promising futures.

The counselors explored our state-of-the-art facility and learned about the various pathways their students could pursue in fields such as design, engineering, and manufacturing. Experiences like these empower educators to foster interest in skilled trades at an early age.

Inspiring Students: Southwestern School District Welding and Auto Body Collision Classes

CityScapes also had the pleasure of hosting 40 students from the Southwestern School District’s Welding and Auto Body Collision programs. Led by our Director of Operations, Andrew Brown, the students toured our 180,000-square-foot facility, gaining valuable insights into the skills and craftsmanship behind our custom architectural solutions.

During the tour, students witnessed the real-world applications of their classroom training, from welding processes to precision fabrication techniques. Andrew Brown highlighted how their skills can translate into exciting careers within Columbus’s growing manufacturing sector.

At CityScapes, we believe in investing in the future of skilled trades,” said Andrew Brown. “Hosting these students was a privilege. It’s inspiring to see their enthusiasm for welding, and we’re proud to showcase how those skills can lead to rewarding careers right here in Columbus.”

Shaping Tomorrow’s Leaders

CityScapes is dedicated to fostering partnerships with local schools, educators, and students. By connecting students to career pathways and empowering educators with firsthand knowledge, we hope to help shape the workforce of tomorrow.

We extend our gratitude to the Hilliard City School District and the Southwestern School District for allowing us to participate in these important learning experiences. Together, we’re building pathways for young leaders, strengthening our community, and investing in a future fueled by innovation and skilled craftsmanship.

If your school or organization would like to partner with CityScapes for a tour or educational opportunity, we’d love to connect. Together, we can inspire the next generation of skilled professionals.
